cornerstore is proud to present God Gives Us Food, a two-person show featuring work by Detroit's Bailey Scieszka and Chicago's Jenn Smith.
Bailey Scieszka lives and works in Detroit. She received her BFA from The Cooper Union in 2011. A selection of recent solo exhibitions includes (2016) Heritage Bloodbath, Bahamas Biennial, MI; Brown Study, Plymouth Rock, Zurich; All The Brown Butterflies, Essex Flowers, NY. Her work has been featured in group exhibitions at What Pipeline, MI; MOCAD; Bed Stuy Love Affair, NY; and Field Projects Gallery, NY, among many others.
Jenn Smith lives and works in Chicago. Jenn received her MFA from SAIC in 2016 and her BS from Illinois State University in 2001. A selection of recent group exhibitions include Emerging Illinois Artists, Mclean County Arts Center, IL; MFA Show, SAIC; and Surface Layers, Samuel Gallery, IL.
